Woodsmoke…

This haiku has just appeared in The Heron’s Nest, a distinguished journal of haiku. For me, as a first time poet in this journal, it is a truly great honor for which I’m thankful.

My poem is on page 11 of The Heron’s Nest:  http://www.theheronsnest.com/March2016/haiku-p11.html

I hope some of you will click the link to The Heron’s Nest to read the full issue of wonderful haiku from around the world.

      • Thanks, Mary. How nice of you. I had to have photos for a permanent visa I need (OCI card -Overseas Citizen of India) I qualify as my husband’s an Indian citizen. I had a photographer take it and he told me to remove my glasses. I scanned it and used it for Google and WordPress. It was too small for my Facebook and Twitter accounts so I used the one my daughter took the last time she was here–the one I’ve been using. 🙂 — Suzanne

  1. I read the Heron’s Nest. I didn’t enter a haiku for the 2015 journal, but I did enter a photograph, and it is being published in the 2015, volume 17; it will becoming out in April. My photograph is being used for the winter section of haiku.

    Enjoyed your haiku Mary..
