I am old enough to have some really good memories of different times and people. The poor snowflake children and millennials don’t have much to put in their cups.
Hi Beth…and thanks for leaving a comment. I wonder if perhaps they have different things to put in their cups. Life is never completely smooth for anyone all the time. Of the millenials I know, they’ve each had their demons, vices, challenges and frustrations as well as their joys and loves. At my ripe age, I tend to focus on my generation, but each brings their own stories to the well.
Lovely though melancholy.
Yeah, the world is a sad place right now. This is a poem on progress so it might shift somewhat. 💚
