This tanka art piece is the second in my Dream Time series of poems. To read the first poem in the series (on this blog), follow this link:

As you’ll notice the two poems are quite different in style and content, but I’ve grouped them together in Dream Time since both were written while poised on that slender edge of dreaming into another time and place.
A Special Word of Thanks:
A big thank you to my dear husband, Ritchie D. Kendall, who took this photograph on a hill in Greenwich in 2013 when we were living in London.

This is lovely–and I must say I’m quite taken with your header photo, is it your own? Gorgeous blog.
The photo is by my husband. There is a note on the piece and at the bottom of the blog posting. It’s important to give correct attribution for photographs on blogs. I’m not a very good photographer, so I often ask others for pictures. 🙂
Oh, I didn’t read all the notes…your husband is a marvelous photographer. I used to use several sites for photos on my previous blogs, as I’m not a photographer at all–this time around I’m letting the poetry stand alone, mostly to conserve energy 🙂 Again, I LOVE your header.
Oh, the header is not by him. It is a standard wordpress header.
Perhaps I confused both of us–regardless, the header is beautiful.
Beautiful, and your tanka goes perfectly with your husband’s gorgeous photo.
Thank you. 😊
