Bare branches . . . (a haiga)

When it rains, it pours, or so the saying goes. This month I feel so fortunate to have so many things included in two of my favorite senryu journals, Failed Haiku and Prune Juice.

The hidden depths of sorrow

Another pairing of a tanka of mine with a stunning photography by Irena Iris Szewczyk that was published in Frameless Sky 4 (Summer 2016).
